Then they can open it in whatever app they use, not just the one you built it in.
Mail-order mixtapes for the modern age
Pick the songs, write a note, choose a cassette color. We send a real card they tap with their phone, and your whole mixtape is waiting as a playlist in their music app, in your order. Just like the old days.
Free to share online · Mailed cards coming soon
Search for songs, write a little note, pick a cassette color. We build the playlists for you. Takes about five minutes, and costs nothing.
We print a pocket-sized card with a tap-to-play tag and a QR code, and send it to their mailbox. Real mail. With a stamp.
One tap opens your note. They pick Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music, and the whole mixtape is already there as a playlist, in your order. (Apple Music asks them to sign in once to save it.)

The first tap shows your note. After they pick their app, every tap after that goes straight to the music.
Make your own tags too: one button writes the link to an NFC sticker on Android, or use any NFC app.
You don't need to pick a streaming service, and neither do they. We build your mixtape as a playlist in each of the big three, so it opens in whatever app they love.
Physical cards are coming soon — free digital mixtapes are available now. Make one today, share the link or QR code, and join the list to hear when cards are ready.
Make a mixtape (free)Nope. Any phone with NFC (most phones from the last few years) just taps the card. Everything else can point the camera at the QR code. They land on a web page, so there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. To hear the full songs they use the music app they already have.
Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. We build your mixtape as a real playlist in each one, in your order, before anyone taps the card. They pick their app and the whole thing is already waiting. Spotify and YouTube Music open straight to it. Apple Music asks them to sign in once with their Apple ID to save it to their library, which needs an Apple Music subscription. Every song also gets a 30-second preview right on the page.
Yes. At the top of the builder, paste a Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube link (a playlist, an album or a single song) and we fill in the songs for you, up to 30. Spotify keeps most playlists private from apps like ours, so for those we show you a two-step trick: select all the songs in Spotify on a computer, copy, and paste them in. Then reorder, remove or add anything you like.
The first tap shows your note and the cassette. After they pick their app (and tick “Always open mixtapes in this app”), every later tap goes straight to the music: Spotify and YouTube Music open the playlist, and Apple Music plays right in the page after one tap on the big play button. They can switch apps any time.
Yes. Once your mixtape is saved you get a gift link and a play link. On an Android phone with Chrome you can write either one to a tag with a single button. On an iPhone, use the free NFC Tools app. Cheap NTAG213 or NTAG215 stickers work with every NFC phone. Use the play link for a tag that is just for you, since it always goes straight to the music.
No. You never log in to a streaming service. Search for songs or type them in, and we build the playlists for you.
Yes. Your private edit link lets you change the songs, the note and the cassette color any time, and the card you mailed shows the new version. Keep that link safe: it's the only way back in.
Cards are printed and dropped in the mail within a couple of days, then take about 3–7 business days to arrive in the US.
That's free. Every mixtape gets its own link and QR code you can text, post or print yourself.
